Lili Gu is a filmmaker and photographer focused on exploring the human condition. She is based on the West Coast (Seattle and LA), but travels often for her work, which she really likes. She also really likes interacting with people and applying her skills to weird new projects -- from intimate humanistic documentaries to experimental shorts to uniquely arresting music videos.

Lili received her B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science, and her M.F.A. in Film Production and Directing from the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television. She is currently editing a feature documentary on being lost in the millennial generation set in the ultimate frisbee community, one that is near and dear to her heart.
